Chelsea will be looking to extend their four-game winning streak with victory over Queens Park Rangers in tonight's west London derby at Stamford Bridge.

The Blues have enjoyed a fruitful festive period, which started with the 8-0 thrashing of Aston Villa, followed by consecutive away victories against Norwich City and Everton, to push them up to fourth in the Premier League table, one point behind Tottenham in third, with two games in hand.

Rafa Benitez will not be able to call upon first-choice goalkeeper Petr Cech, after the 30-year-old picked up a groin injury at Goodison Park, with Ross Turnbull set to deputise.

John Obi Mikel missed the 2-1 victory against the Toffees on Sunday, but Benitez has insisted the problem is not serious, so could make a return this evening.

QPR meanwhile arrive at Chelsea having taken just 10 points from their first 20 league games, and have won only once all season. Harry Redknapp's arrival has lifted spirits at Loftus Road, though, and the Rs will now be hoping for a significant change in fortunes, starting tonight.

Chelsea predicted starting XI:

Turnbull; Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Cole; Ramires, Luiz; Mata, Moses, Hazard; Torres.
