Napoli striker Eduardo Vargas could be set to leave the Serie 'A' club this month, alerting Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea, according to talkSPORT.

The Chile international has been linked with a move to Sao Paulo, and the forward's agent, Cristian Ogalde, has revealed his player is likely to leave Napoli this month.

Ogalde has previously claimed that Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool were tracking Vargas, and the striker's representative now says it's up to Napoli to decide where he ends up.

Speaking to Radio Gol, Ogalde said: "I do not know if this is the last we'll see of Vargas at Napoli.

"That all depends on the club. It is very likely that he'll leave though. That decision however, is entirely down to them. The player just wants to play again in order to feel important."

Vargas only joined Napoli in 2012, for a fee believed to be in the region of £11.5m. And the Chilean international, who joined from Universidad de Chile, was highly sought after at that stage, having come second to Neymar in the 2011 vote for South American Footballer of the Year.

He primarily operates as a second striker or a winger, a position Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool are all thought to be keen to strengthen this month, and his availability could pique their interest.
