Pep Guardiola will reportedly reject the advances of Chelsea and Manchester United to become the Manchester City manager in the summer.

The former Barcelona boss says he wants to return to management in time for next season, and City look to have won the race for his signature.

Tottenham manager Andre Villas-Boas has revealed he considered making a move for Scott Parker when he was in charge at Chelsea.

Villas-Boas says he spoke to Parker about a possible transfer to Stamford Bridge, but eventually opted to sign Oriol Romeu from Barcelona.

Arsene Wenger does not expect any players to follow Marouane Chamakh and Johan Djourou out of the Arsenal exit in January.

The Arsenal manager is instead focused on bringing reinforcements to the Emirates Stadium.

Barcelona have gained a further two points on rivals Real Madrid after beating Malaga on Sunday.

Real Madrid are now 18 points behind Barcelona in La Liga, but Gonzalo Higuain insists there are no problems at the Santiago Bernabeu.
