David Beckham has reportedly outlined AC Milan as his preferred next destination but, it has been claimed, the Italian giants have rejected the opportunity to sign the former England captain.
Beckham is available on a free transfer after leaving LA Galaxy following a second successive MLS Cup triumph, and has been linked with the likes of Anzhi Makhachkala and Paris Saint-Germain.
According to Sky Italia, however, Beckham favours a return to the San Siro having spent loan spells with AC Milan in 2009 and 2010, making 33 appearances for the club.
Beckham's representatives have reportedly approached AC Milan about a potential deal for the 37-year-old midfielder, but the Italian giants seemingly have no interest in signing the ex-Manchester United star for a third time.
This news may serve as a boost to other interested parties, with West Ham and Queens Park Rangers reported to be among them, although Beckham is unlikely to sign for another Premier League club given his allegiances to Manchester United.
Beckham has now based his family in London following their return from Los Angeles and, according to the Daily Mail, a move to Paris Saint-Germain could be attractive to the former Real Madrid man.
The Old Trafford legend worked under Leonardo, PSG's director of football, during his tie at AC Milan.
