Manchester United v Fulham predicted line up

Manchester United face a tricky FA Cup fourth round tie with the visit of fellow Premier League side Fulham.

It has been billed in part as the return of former Old Trafford striker Dimitar Berbatov and it will be intriguing to see whether he can trouble his firmer employers defence.

Costing £30million from Tottenham Hotspur in 2008, many have labelled the Bulgarian a failure for not dominating at United as he did in north London but Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson refuted that claim.

Whether he was or not, Ferguson will be making contingency plans in a bid to stop him from becoming a nuisance on Saturday evening.

The Scot may be less inclined to rest players with the tie being against Premier League opposition, but an important league clash with Southampton the following Wednesday may prompt him to rotate somewhat.

Manchester United’s stars were whisked off to Qatar this week for some warm weather training and to get away from the wintry conditions in the UK.

Ferguson’s men are leading the league by five points and will be prioritising that competition, but the pressure of a home FA Cup tie could well mean a very strong team is announced.

The only injuries United have to deal with are those being carried by winger Ashley Young and centre-back Jonny Evans, both of whom will not be available for selection.

GiveMeFootball have predicted the Manchester United line-up for the late kick-off below:

David de Gea; Rafael, Patrice Evra, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Anderson, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Valencia, Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie.
