Arsenal and Liverpool go head-to-head in the Premier League tonight (Wednesday), with the Gunners looking to repeat their 2-0 victory at Anfield earlier in the season.

Wojciech Szczesny is set to continue in goal for Arsene Wenger, despite a few moment of concern for the north London outfit in their 3-2 FA Cup victory over Brighton at the weekend.

Captain Thomas Vermaelen missed the trip to the south coast with an ankle injury, but should be back to line-up alongside Bacary Sagna, Per Mertesacker and Kieran Gibbs in the Arsenal defence.

Mikel Arteta is also scheduled to return for tonight’s clash at the Emirates Stadium, but is likely to find his place amongst the substitutes. Jack Wilshere and Santi Cazorla are the certain starters in midfield.

And, up-front, Frenchman Olivier Giroud has certainly found his goalscoring form at the right time. He is likely to keep his place following a brace against the Seagulls, with Theo Walcott and Lukas Podolski in support.

Arsenal predicted line-up v Liverpool:

Wojciech Szczesny; Bacary Sagna, Thomas Vermaelen, Per Mertesacker, Kieran Gibbs; Santi Cazorla, Abou Diaby, Jack Wilshere; Theo Walcott, Olivier Giroud, Lukas Podolski.
