Borussia Dortmund have reportedly caved in, and will allow Manchester United target Robert Lewandowski to speak to Bayern Munich about a potential transfer.

The Poland international has been linked with United for some time, but may now be on his way to the Allianz Arena.

Manchester City are considering a summer move for Sevilla striker Alvaro Negredo, reports claim.

Chelsea and Tottenham have previously been credited with interest in the Spain international.

Defoe sustained the injury in the weekend defeat of West Brom, and leaves Spurs short of options up front.

Spain started with nine Barcelona players on Wednesday evening as they beat Uruguay in Qatar.

Cesc Fabregas opened the scoring before a double from Pedro, while Cristian Rodriguez was on the scoresheet for Uruguay.
