Mario Balotelli has hit the headlines again – this time for kicking a ball in the direction of some astronauts.

It’s another crazy moment in the life of AC Milan’s newest star, who can’t seem to do anything at the minute without finding his way into the papers.

True, this incident’s more comical than controversial, but you couldn’t imagine it happening to anyone else in the world of football right now.

The mad moment occurred in the 58th minute, when the former Manchester City star got in a tussle for possession with two Dutch midfielders.

And, having dribbled the ball out of play, Balotelli smashed the ball at the advertising boards in frustration at not getting a free-kick.

But, quite unbelievably, two fans dressed as astronauts were in the vicinity, with one taking particular exception to the actions of the 22-year-old.

For the record, Italy managed to salvage a draw in the friendly against Holland, with Marco Veratti’s injury-time strike cancelling out the opener from Jeremain Lens.
