Barcelona president Sandro Rosell says there is only one Real Madrid player he would like to bring to the Camp Nou, although would not reveal the star in question in order to avoid creating a 'circus'.

The two clubs have one of the longest and most bitter rivalries in European football, with El Clasico still contested fiercely under the stewardships of current Barcelona and Real Madrid managers Tito Vilanova and Jose Mourinho.

Rosell, then, has been wise to tread carefully when praising the players of the Santiago Bernabeu club, in order not to risk the Catalan faithful of Barcelona, although there is on Real Madrid employee who catches his eye.

Iker Casillas, the Real Madrid captain, was a name pushed towards Rosell when speaking to Punto Radio and the Barcelona supremo offered the faintest of hints that it could be the Spain goalkeeper who he admires most.

"There is one Real Madrid player I have liked for many years," he explained, as reported by

"But I'm not going to say who it is because I would be creating a circus.

"Madrid have some great players and of course there is one I would like to sign. Is it [Iker] Casillas? I'm not giving away any clues."

Barcelona will meet Real Madrid at the Camp Nou in the second instalment of their Copa del Rey semi-final Clasico on February 27, with the tie level at 1-1 from the first leg.
