Andre Santos believes his loan move to Gremio will restore his confidence, and ensure he returns to Arsenal a stronger player. The Brazilian has moved to South America until the end of the season, but he claims he's still part of Arsene Wenger's long-term plans at the Emirates Stadium.

There's good news for Manchester City, as Micah Richards is closing in on a return to the first-team squad. The 24-year-old has been out of action since October with a knee injury, but City hope to have him back in full training within two weeks.

David De Gea insists he has improved since he joined the club amid continued backing from Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. The Spaniard has come in for criticism this season, but De Gea believes he's a better player now than he was at Atletico Madrid.

David Bentley is set to be given the chance to relaunch his English career at former club Blackburn. The Spurs winger is currently on loan at Russian club FC Rostov, but new Rovers boss Michael Appleton has confirmed the 28-year-old is one of three players he hopes to bring to Ewood Park.

West Brom defender Steven Reid hopes his club can keep hold of Romelu Lukaku. The Belgian striker is on-loan from Chelsea - and Reid admits he's been surprised at just how good the forward is.

Pedro has revealed Sergio Ramos is one of the only Real Madrid players he would like to play for Barcelona. The Nou Camp winger, who plays alongside Ramos for the Spanish national team, thinks the Madrid defender is one of the best centre-backs in the world.
