Lucas Digne says he is flattered by reports linking him with a move to Manchester United, but insists he is in no rush to leave Lille.

Digne is considered one of the brightest young prospects in French football and has been linked with numerous major European clubs in the past.

According to recent reports, Manchester United are eyeing the 19-year-old as a long-term successor to Patrice Evra.

The Red Devils bought in Alexander Buttner from Vitesse Arnhem over the summer as cover for Evra, however the Dutchman has failed to make an impression this term and has made just eight appearances, the last of which came in January.

Despite rumours of a move to Old Trafford, Digne says he is happy to remain with Lille for the foreseeable future in order to keep on playing regular football.

Digne told Le 10 Sport: ‘Manchester United are a top club and to be linked with them means you must be doing something well, but I will not lose sleep.

'I live day-to-day because I feel very happy at Lille - this is the club of my heart, the club that developed me.

'I do not make plans in a rush. I am very much at Lille, I am not planning to leave.

'I see things from the perspective of staying for a while to continue to play regularly, gain experience and develop.'

Chelsea have also reportedly been eyeing Digne, with scouts from Stamford Bridge dispatched to watch the talented youngster in action earlier this season.

Whether Chelsea remain interested in Digne is unclear, however the fact that he extended his contract with Lille last year until 2016 means he is unlikely to be on the move anytime soon.
