Manchester United winger Nani is wanted by Juventus with doubt shrouding his Old Trafford future.

According to a report in Tuttosport, the Serie A champions are keen to recruit the Portugal international and are confident of convincing Sir Alex Ferguson to part with him.

Nani’s contract runs out in the summer of 2014 and talks over a new deal have failed to produce agreement.

The 26-year-old was centre of attention on Tuesday in the conclusion of Manchester United’s Champions League last 16 clash with Real Madrid.

The Red Devils were 1-0 up and in control thanks to Nani forcing a Sergio Ramos own goal just after half time.

The game then turned just ten minutes after the break when he was shown a harsh red card following a collision with Alvaro Arbeloa.

Manchester United were fuming and crashed out thanks to two quick goals from Luka Modric and former Old Trafford favourite Cristiano Ronaldo.
