Video: £18m striker shows Tottenham what they're missing

Tottenham's failure to sign a striker in the January transfer window has, thankfully for Andre Villas-Boas, not come back to bite them with Gareth Bale able to hit a purple patch at just the right time.

But Bale's fine form in front of goal does little to disguise that Spurs remain short up top, and another move for Leandro Damiao, a target at the turn of the year, will surely come to fruition at the end of the season.

Spurs were credited with an offer of £18 million for the Brazil international on transfer deadline day in January as Villas-Boas strived to make reinforcements, and the Internacional hitman showed the north Londoners just what they are missing with a fine goal at the weekend.

The 23-year-old scored a wonderful curler from the edge of the box as Internacional cruised to victory over Sao Luiz, and how Spurs fans would like to see the Brazilian do the same at White Hart Lane next season.

Watch the goal in the video above...
