Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes that Czech Republic international Tomas Rosicky can be a "massive influence" in the side's run-in from now until May.
The midfielder has suffered from injuries ever since he signed for Arsenal back in 2006 from German side Borussia Dortmund and this season has been no different.
After being sensational in the last few months of last season, the Czech Republic international then picked up another injury during the 2012 European Championships. This injury has restricted the 32-year-old to just nine appearances this season.
His ninth game came on Wednesday night during his side's impressive 2-0 victory in Germany over Bayern Munich and he managed to completed the full 90 minutes. After putting in an impressive shift, Wenger believes his side have missed the Czech.
"A big regret of my season is that Tomas Rosicky did not appear before January basically because he was out for a long time," he told Arsenal Player. "Hopefully now he is fresh, he will help us until the end of the season to reach the top four. he can have a massive influence."
The Gunners are currently sitting in fifth position in the Premier League and face a tough task ahead of them if they want to achieve another top four finish, as they sit five points behind fourth and seven points behind third.
Despite being behind in the Champions League race, last year Arsenal were ten points off Tottenham, but with the help of impressive Rosicky, the Gunners were capable of turning things around and they finished the season in third.
