Premier League Team of the Week: March 16/17 (1)

Another week, another Manchester United win, and another Manchester City loss - if the title race was previously on life support, it is now being read its last rites.

United's 1-0 victory over Reading was anything but pretty, and fairly accurately summed up their season so far - not spectacular, not actually that impressive, but ruthlessly efficient.

City, in contrast, collapsed on the Goodison Park turf. Where last season seemed so fluid, so easy, this campaign has seemed laborious.

Roberto Mancini oozed continental class last term. His no-show in the post-match press conference on Saturday betrayed his fraying state of mind 10 months on.

Elsewhere, wins for Fulham, Southampton and Wigan were all impressive, while Aston Villa secured a massive three points in the relegation scrap against Queens Park Rangers.

Anyway, that's enough fluff, you're here for the Team of the Week, so here you go...
