A host of Premier League clubs look set to miss out on St. Etienne hotshot Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with Paris-Saint Germain leading the chase for his signature, according to the Daily Mirror.

The 23-year-old, Ligue 1's second top scorer this season, added weight to claims he could make the move to the Parc de Prince by suggesting he would like to line up alongside PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

I am ready to join a top club,’ Aubameyang said.

‘PSG? Of course an eventual offer would be really interesting, but I don’t know if they are really tracking me. We will see. In any case it would be nice to play alongside Ibrahimovich.’

Arsenal, Chelsea and Newcastle have all reportedly been tracking the talented youngster, while Tottenham were said to be eyeing him in the past.

And while reports of Chelsea and Arsenal's interest remain a rumour, Newcastle chairman Mike Ashley was present at St. Etienne's 2-2 draw with PSG on Saturday evening to run the rule over another Ligue 1 starlet.

Earlier this month Chelsea reportedly sent scouts to watch the striker in action, While Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund are said to have watched him in the past.
