South African defender Thabo Matlaba scored a stunning goal for his country in their World Cup qualifying victory over the Central African Republic.
The Orlando Pirates left-back opened the scoring with a sublime individual strike, cutting in from his flank and unleashing an unstoppable right foot shot past keeper Geoffrey Lembet.
Bernard Parker doubled the score in the second period to complete a 2-0 victory at Green Point Stadium, putting Gordon Igesund's side in a solid position to qualify for Brazil 2014.
Bafana Bafana sit second in Group A, two points behind Ethiopia in Round 2. They must win the group to qualify for Round 3, when ten teams play home and away for five places at next summer's tournament.
And, with goals like this from Matlaba, the hosts from 2010 have every chance of making it to another major tournament.
Watch the stunning strike at the top of this story, and let us know the best goal you saw this weekend...
