Arsenal forward Lukas Podolski says he is flattered by interest from Juventus but has insisted he has no plans to leave Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners star has recently been linked with a move away after reports claimed Arsene Wenger was unhappy with his work-rate on the left hand side.

In an interview with German newspaper Bild, the 27-year-old denied he has been relegated to the bench by Wenger due to his attitude and said his relationship with the Arsenal manager was good.

Bild then asked him about the reports of a summer departure from north London and the report in The Sun.

“I want to say two things about that. First: Its not my fault that clubs are interested in me,” said the Germany international.

“And second: The interest of other clubs also makes me proud, because I see it as an acknowledgement of my performances that I have shown in London so far.”

Podolski was then quizzed directly on the possibility of him leaving before the expiration of his Arsenal contract in 2016.

“That’s unlikely, because I feel really comfortable in the club and in the city,” he added.

“I really appreciate that you can have some peace and quiet as a player. That’s why I can honestly say I'm not planning a transfer.”

Podolski is currently away on international duty with Germany and was an early substitute from the bench in the 3-0 win over Kazakhstan.

The former FC Koln captain has been carrying an ankle injury in recent weeks and has not played for Arsenal since the 2-1 defeat to Tottenham at the beginning of March.

That his last three Premier League performances have come as a substitute could have a lot to do with the reports emerging that questioned his future.
