As Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi was struggling for breath in the altitude of Bolivia on Tuesday, one Nou Camp youngster was in breathtaking form for the club's academy side, as he scored after just five seconds.

Striker Marc Jurado, a member of Barcelona's Benjamín C, has seen his stock rise significantly following the goal against Sant Just, after the club posted the rapid effort on their official YouTube channel.

Hunched down on the halfway line like a sprinter in his blocks, Jurado seized immediate possession of the ball following a kick-off from from Sant Just, and skipped past two defenders before sliding the ball into the net.

The goal was clocked at exactly five seconds, and was reminiscent of a trademark slaloming run from Messi himself. Watch the strike from Jurado in the video above.
