Brazilian superstar Neymar produced a fitting tribute to Usain Bolt after scoring for Santos in their 2-1 win against Oeste.
The 21-year-old opened the scoring on 61 minutes, and produced the ‘lightning bolt’ celebration in honour of the Jamaican sprint star.
Bolt was in Brazil competing on Copacabana beach, and fell 0.07 seconds short of his own 150m-world record with a victorious time of 14.42 seconds.
Neymar, meanwhile, plies his trade in South America on a weekly basis, and could stay in his homeland beyond the 2014 World Cup.
"Why not? Talks are underway, but they are more with my father than with me," he told ESPN Brazil when asked about extending his stay with Santos.
Contract talks are over a deal that could keep him with the Vila Belmiro until 2016, according to Sky Sports.
