John Hartson has urged West Brom not to sell key players such as skipper Curtis Davies and striker Nathan Ellington during the January transfer window.

Hartson was disappointed that midfielder Nigel Quashie left the Baggies to join West Ham and hopes other players do not follow him out of the Hawthorns exit door.

The former Welsh international told PA Sport: "I don´t know the ins and outs or everything but, for me, I don´t want to see our best players go. I didn´t want Nigel Quashie to go. I don´t want to see Curtis Davies leave, or Nathan Ellington, or whoever else."
