Video: Ronaldinho scores brilliant goal with unusual technique

Ronaldinho Gaucho obviously loves being back in his homeland as it is almost every week we see footage of him doing something outrageous for his club Atletico Miniero.

He has been at it again in the Copa Libertadores (South America’s Champions League, though GMF readers should really know that by now) against Arsenal de Sarandi.

Atletico were impressive in sealing a 5-2 win over their Argentine opponents, with Ronaldinho getting two goals and an assist.

The second of these was the pick of the bunch as the Brazil international pulled off something GMF is struggling a little to describe fully.

The former Barcelona and AC Milan superstar picks up the ball in the left of the area before chipping it into the near post top corner.

Ronaldinho’s kicking action is that of someone attempting a chipped lob but it flies past goalkeeper’s outstretched hand.

Whatever he’s done, it looks brilliant and made the game totally safe by taking the score to 4-1 just before the hour.
