Arsenal target and possible Bacary Sagna replacement, Gregory van der Wiel, is set to leave Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

According to Calciomercato, the Holland international has failed to impress Carlo Ancelotti since his switch from Ajax last summer.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly interested in the 25-year-old and was linked with a move for him before he joined the Qatari-funded Ligue 1 side.

Now this latest report suggests the Gunners tactician may get another chance to land the right back as PSG could be willing to sell in the summer.

Arsenal could be in need of a new right-back as the future of the current first choice in the position, Bacary Sagna, is in doubt.

The France international will have a year left on his deal in the summer and talks over an extension have reportedly stalled.

A swap deal could be possible as PSG have been credited with an interest in Sagna, which could pave the way for Van der Wiel to join Arsenal.

Van der Wiel could face being on the sidelines at Arsenal, should he move there, as young England right-back Carl Jenkinson has impressed when given the opportunity to fill in for Sagna this season.
