Sevilla sporting director Ramon Rodriguez ´Monchi´ has revealed Charlton are leading the race to sign unsettled striker Kepa Blanco.

The 22-year-old is a reported target of several Premiership clubs but it appears the struggling Londoners are in pole position to take him on loan for the rest of the season.

"French clubs, English clubs and German clubs have shown an interest in Kepa,2 Monchi told PA Sport. "One of those clubs is Charlton Athletic. We have not taken a decision yet but all could be sorted later today (Wednesday)."
