Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp will snub reported interest from Chelsea and stay at the Westfalenstadion, according to Bundesliga expert Jan Aage Fjortoft.
In a talkSPORT radio interview this morning, the Sky Sports pundit said that the 45-year-old would be foolish to leave Germany, hinting that Roman Abramovich's reputation to 'hire and fire' will deter Klopp to move to west London.
They have been linked with the in-demand Dortmund coach, who last night oversaw a dramatic 3-2 victory over Malaga in the Champions League, booking his side's place in the semi-finals of Europe's elite club competition.
"There will be clubs trying to tempt him, but he's got a great job [at Dortmund]," reflected Fjortoft. "They have an average crowd of 80,000 people and he's got young talent there.
"He built up the team on his own since he came from Mainz and he's just extended his contract. Why should he go?
"You could say Chelsea because they need a new manager. Well, Jurgen Klopp is not stupid. He knows that you get fired there for fun, all the time. He's got time to build a team at Dortmund, as he has done. He will stay put."
Jose Mourinho is the other name in the Chelsea frame, with the Real Madrid boss currently favourite to return to Stamford Bridge, six years after he parted company with the club he delivered two Premier League titles, one FA Cup and two League Cup trophies for, during three seasons in charge.
