Miami Heat left it late in Boston to extend their win streak to 23 games, the second longest in NBA history.

Against a spirited Celtics side, the Heat recovered an early deficit to win the game with just seconds remaining.

Lebron James netted the decisive points with just 10.5 seconds left on the clock to win the game for Miami 105-103.

James was also the main contributor for the Heat as he racked up 37 points and 12 assists in an enthralling game. Mario Chalmers also ended the night with 21 points and Dwayne Wade added 16.

Celtics' fans have much to thank Jeff Green for after his career-best performance of 43 points almost ensured a famous victory.

It still leaves Miami 11 games behind the all-time record win streak of 33 set by the Los Angeles Lakers back in 1972.

It moves Miami to 52-14 for the season and increases their lead at the top of the Eastern Conference. Indiana Pacers the closest challengers 11 and half games behind.

The Heat will look to prolong their win record when travelling to Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
