Spain boss Vicente del Bosque is hoping Barcelona and Real Madrid can meet in a dream final at Wembley.

The Spanish giants could face each other in the final having been drawn apart in last Friday's Champions League draw.

Both La Liga sides will know they will have to be at their absolute best if an El Clasico final was to happen, as Bayern Munich and Dortmund stand in the way of Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.

Former Real Madrid manager Del Bosque told reporters: "Everybody wants a final between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

"It would be a great final if Barca and Madrid were to meet as the majority of the players also play for Spain's national team. It would be another huge step for Spanish football."

Jupp Heynckes' Bayern Munich will go into their clash with Barcelona full of confidence having clinched the Bundesliga title with six games to spare.

Jurgen Klopp's Dortmund side got the better of Real Madrid during the group stages by claiming four points from a possible six, while Barcelona and Bayern Munich have not contested a competitive match since 2009.
