Injury has prevented Shinji Kagawa from providing Manchester United with his best this season, but the Japanese star has shown what he is capable off in a new advert for Japanese TV.

Kagawa moved to Old Trafford from Borussia Dortmund in the summer transfer window of last year, but has made only 18 appearances for the Premier League champions elect in his maiden season with the club.

The 24-year-old has admitted his frustration at being unable to replicate for Manchester United the form he had shown for Borussia Dortmund, but Kagawa has offered a glimpse of what could be to come next term.

In a commercial promoting Kirin Brewery Company, Kagawa takes on a team of nine players on his own, and leaves every single member of the opposition looking stupid thanks to some nifty footwork and dazzling skills.

The Manchester United forward performs step overs and fancy flicks until his heart's content, before slamming an unstoppable strike into the top corner. And the Old Trafford faithful would love some of that next season
