Arsenal are being linked with a summer move for Portugal international Rui Patricio.

The Daily Express cite reports in Portuguese publication A Bola when claiming that the Gunners are keen on the 25-year-old.

And, the report goes on to claim Arsene Wenger would need to spend £13million to bring the Sporting Lisbon star to the Emirates Stadium.

Hamburg stopper Rene Adler is also on the Arsenal radar, according to the report, as Wenger looks to improve his options between the sticks.

Wojciech Szczesny and Lucasz Fabianski have both failed to make the position their own this term, with the Poles continuing to look shaky on the big stage.

Patricio, meanwhile, has been an ever-present for Sporting this term, and has 22 caps for his country.

Arsenal’s summer transfer activity could depend on their finishing position in the Premier League, with Champions League football a potentially huge incentive for prospective targets.

The Gunners must finish in the top four to secure football amongst Europe’s very best next term.
