Chelsea and Manchester United target Radamel Falcao has been told he is going nowhere – by his pregnant girlfriend.

Argentine singer Lorelai Taron is due to give birth to the Colombia striker’s child soon and sees no reason why they would be going anywhere.

Chelsea have long been linked with a move for the Atletico Madrid strike, with the Stamford Bridge keen to provide competition for Fernando Torres and Demba Ba.

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly ready to spend big to make Falcao his next high profile signing.

However, the Blues had reportedly been beaten to the punch by Premier League rivals Manchester United last week.

Reports in Spain suggested Sir Alex Ferguson had taken up an interest in Falcao and that Manchester United were set to begin advanced talks over a move this summer.

Falcao’s other half was not too impressed by this suggestion and insisted she and he were going nowhere.

“The baby will be born in Spain. We are not moving,” she is quoted as saying in the Daily Mirror.

“Our doctor is here, we are very happy. Madrid is a city that I am in love with and Radamel is very happy here.”
