Chelsea have reportedly made their interest in Alexis Sanchez known to Barcelona, while the Chilean is also wanted by Arsenal and Manchester United as the opening of the summer transfer window edges ever closer.

According to the Daily Express, Chelsea have declared their intent to capture the signature of Sanchez in the summer, as speculation continues that this season could be his last as a Barcelona player.

Chelsea are reported to be considering Sanchez as a possible attacking addition with the future of Fernando Torres at Stamford Bridge still in doubt, while the Blues are also set to acquire the services of Germany international Andre Schurrle.

Sanchez has failed to make a lasting impression for Barcelona since his high-profile transfer from Udinese in 2011, and the 24-year-old has scored only five goals this season for the Primera Division champions-elect.

The young forward will reportedly hold talks with his agent to discuss whether or not to stay with Barcelona and, along with Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United have been credited with interest in Sanchez.

Chelsea, however, would possess greater financial clout were Arsenal and Manchester United to engage in a bidding war with the Blues, although any move for Sanchez may depend on the appointment of the club's next manager.
