Victor Wanyama has insisted he will stay at Celtic, despite reports subjecting the 21-year-old with a move to Manchester United.
Wanyama has grabbed the attention of European clubs after his impressive performances for Celtic in the Champions League this season.
His contract with the Scottish giants is until 2015, but his performances have led many to believe that he will make a move before his contract ends.
However the Kenyan international has claimed he is happy where he is and wants to remain in the club to help them challenge for more honours next season.
He told reporters: "I'm happy here and I love it here at Celtic so I'll be here next season.
"I still have a contract with Celtic and I'm happy at the club so I think I'll still be here.
"We want to do better than this season so if we can get the treble next season, it will be a very good achievement for me.
"That's my dream for next season. Also, playing in the Champions League again."
The highly rated youngster has made a total of 89 appearances for Celtic in his first two seasons with 13 goals to his name.
He operates mainly as a defensive midfielder and can also play as a central defender. Wanyama is a powerful defensive midfielder with a keen eye for goal. For a young player, he has shown maturity well beyond his years.
He is incredibly strong as is able to hold the ball up well and is not at all afraid when playing against bigger teams. For a guy his size, it is surprising that he is able to dribble with pace and unleash powerful shots on goal at times.
If United do miss out on the Celtic star man, they would have to look for alternatives in covering the gaps in their midfield which has been accused of being soft at times.
