There is currently much debate as to which league is the best in the world.
Fortunately, World Soccer magazine has produced a list that incorporates the top 25 leagues in the world.
The British magazine conducted a survey to judge this disputable topic based on criteria such as finances, attendance figures, goals scored, managers, star players, stadiums and of course - competitiveness.
The survey evaluated details which included league income, goals per game, the amount of different clubs to have won a title, the number of stadiums that had been built in the past decade, the extent of players who had played in the most recent World Cup and the clubs' competitiveness in their continent's major tournaments.
Many leagues are ranked equal to others. Nonetheless, here's the list counting down from 25:
25 = Uruguay | Primera Division
25 = South Africa | Premier Soccer League
25 = Scotland | Premier League
25 = Paraguay | Primera Division
23 = UAE | Pro League
23 = Ecuador | Serie A
20 = Poland | Ekstraklasa
20 = Colombia | Primera A
20 = Australia | A-League
19. Switzerland | Super League

So there we have it. The German Bundesliga is ranked the top league in the world.
Some may come as surprises but their high ranking could be due mainly to high attendances and star players.
