Arsenal striker Lukas Podolski is a £12million summer target for Turkish giants Galatasaray, as they look to add to their star-studded line up.

According to Metro, the Germany international is becoming unsettled with life at Emirates Stadium and fears Gunners boss Arsene Wenger may decide to sell him.

The latest report claims Galatasaray are ready to offer Arsenal as much as £12million pounds to sell Podolski, just a year after he moved to north London.

Podolski has had an up and down first season in English football, scoring 14 goals in all competitions but rarely completely 90 minutes.

Galatasaray are amassing a team of established European names as they look to make a bigger impact in the Champions League.

This January they recruited Chelsea legend Didier Drogba after an abortive spell in China and Inter Milan’s Wesley Sneijder, who was being frozen out at the Nerazzurri.

Despite not playing a central role and mixed form, Podolski has insisted he is happy in London and is determined to make a success of things at Arsenal.
