Video: Jose Mourinho & Iker Casillas blank each other in Real Madrid tunnel

The ongoing feud between Jose Mourinho and Iker Casillas has gone viral, after the pair were caught blanking each other during Real Madrid’s 4-3 win over Real Valladolid.

Casillas has found himself stuck to the bench at the Santiago Bernabeu in recent months, with ‘the Special One’ favouring Diego Lopez ahead of the Spanish number one.

Indeed, Mourinho fuelled the fire last week when claiming he wished he’d signed his current first choice following his first season in the Spanish capital rather than back in January.

The ‘dig’ at Casillas has not been well received by members of the former Chelsea manager’s playing staff at Madrid however, with Pepe coming out in defence of the legendary stopper.

“There needs to be a little more respect to Iker. Iker is well loved. What the coach said was not the most appropriate. Iker is a player who is part of Madrid. He’s an institution, both in this club and in Spain,” the centre back told Canal+.

Whether Pepe’s comments will have any impact on Mourinho, only time will tell. But, with the ex-Porto boss tipped to leave the club at the end of the season, his selection policy is unlikely to change.

And, with a Copa del Rey final around the corner, there could be more disappointment for Casillas before the campaign comes to a close.

Watch the frosty reception the duo give each other in the video below, and let us know what you think of the Mourinho-Casillas feud...
