Croatian under-21 star Ante Rebic is the perfect player for Tottenham this summer, according to the player's agent.

The teenage forward has been scouted extensively by Spurs, and is wanted by "every top club in England" after bagging nine goals in 23 league starts for RNK Split - including Manchester City and Manchester United.

The report claims RNK have already turned down offers from several teams for the 19-year-old but an offer of £4.2m should be enough to prompt a sale.

And the player's agent, Danko Dikic, thinks Rebic would be very interested in a transfer to the Premier League at the end of the season, with Spurs an 'ideal' club.

"For sure [he would love to move to England]," Dikic told "But it would have to be a good club, because [RNK Split] are asking minimum €5m, and not every club can afford that.

"He is a regular for the Croatia under-21s and I think he will now be selected for the national team against Scotland.

"Ante is confident in himself and he would like a move. England is number one and Germany. The way of playing is attractive, fast.

"Absolutely [Tottenham would be a good club for him]. The way of playing from Tottenham, and the way of playing from Ante, maybe, maybe, the right club.

"Because offensively Ante is good - he's big, strong, fast - it could be an ideal situation."

But Spurs are not the only club interested in the forward though. While Andre Villas-Boas has dispatched scouts to Croatia on several occasions, the north London club have been joined by representatives of several other Premier League teams - including Manchester City and Manchester United.

"It is not only now [that Tottenham have watched Rebic], it was also before," Dikic continued. "But not only Tottenham, lots of other English clubs. German and Italian clubs are scouting him also. Manchester City, Manchester United, everybody. Every top club from England."

Dikic also confirmed the possibility remains that his player could stay in Croatia, with Dinamo Zagreb joining the likes of City, United and Spurs in watching the forward.

“Zagreb is giving a big offer, they also want to [sign] him. For his development, maybe Dinamo is the best because he's in Croatia, he will play regularly in the national team.”
