Jason Dufner finished his opening round of The Players Championship in emphatic style with a remarkable eagle on the par-four 18th hole from all of 158 yards.
After evading the water with his tee shot, the 36-year-old found himself well placed for an approach to the final green, and his second shot towards the tucked pin proved to be inch perfect.
Dufner carded a score of one-under 71 at the end of the first days play on Thursday, which represents a solid base for the American to build on Day Two.
And, he's also made history by becoming only the third golfer to make eagle on a traditionally treacherous last hole at Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
You'd think that the memorable achievement would be enough to cue wild celebrations from Dufner - a man who rarely shows any emotion on or off the golf course - but no, a brief smirk and half-hearted 'high-five' with his caddie was all that followed. Never mind!
