Real Madrid stars play ‘Football Golf’

Football News

Footballers have a lot of spare time on their hands and it seems as though golf is the most common pastime of choice – somebody has just invented the perfect game for them.

Real Madrid stars Mesut Özil, Gonzalo Higuain, Fabio Coentrão and Raphaël Varane were given the chance to play a game that combined the two favourite sports.

Cleverly named ‘Football Golf’ the game is probably exactly as you would imagine it to be from the name.

The Santiago Bernabeu stars are tasked with getting the ball into the hole, but the ball is a normal sized football and the hole is big enough for one of them to fit in.

This didn’t stop them from complaining about it not being big enough though.

GMF think striker Gonzalo Higauin has won in the end, but we’re not entirely sure – though we are certain that Mesur Özil has lost by the fact he is ridiculed afterwards.

We don’t want to be too harsh on the players though, as the game looks devilishly hard.
