Gareth Bale & Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in five-a-side face-off

Football News

Five-a-side football is a common pastime in the UK and the standard can get quite high – GMF doubts if the players turning up this week quite realised it would be so high.

It is not unusual for teams to occasionally bring in ringers for the odd game, who turn out to be much better than everyone else.

The ringers in this Lucozade Sport advert are quite something else – a certain Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain of Arsenal and the PFA Player of the Year, Young Player of the Year and FWA Player of the Year, Gareth Bale.

The former Southampton graduates turn up to help out teams Dynamo Samba and FC Atholl.

‘The Ox’, as he is referred to, is running riot early on until Bale turns up to steal some of his thunder.

Plenty of tricks, flicks and goals ensue – a highlight is Oxlade-Chamberlain copying Bale’s now trademarked goal celebration after putting one shot away.
