Tottenham Hotspur are being linked with a £5million move for Croatian starlet Ante Rebic.

The Daily Mail claims Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is eager to bring the player to the Premier League, and is favourite to land the player this summer.

Parma are also tracking Rebic’s progress, according to the paper, but the striker favours a move to England.

A powerful forward, the U21 international has netted 10 goals in 27 games for RNK Split this season, alerting clubs around Europe.

Tottenham Hotspur have been lacking firepower this season, with injury hampering Jermain Defoe and a lack of form at the start of the campaign taking its toll on Emmanuel Adebayor.

It’s led to speculation that ‘AVB’ will look to strengthen in the area at the end of the season, with the report going on to claim that Leandro Damiao, Christian Benteke and David Villa are also on the White Hart Lane radar.

Unlike the aforementioned trio, 19-year-old Rebic would be a signing for the future at Spurs, although his goal-record for the Prva HNL side suggests he could challenge for a first-team place sooner rather than later.
