Real Madrid endured a night to forget at the Santiago Bernabeu on Friday, losing the Copa del Rey final 2-1 to local rival Atletico Madrid.

It was a particularly bad night for two of the biggest names involved in the showpiece event, with Jose Mourinho sent from the touchline in normal time and Cristiano Ronaldo given his marching orders during extra-time.

The Special One was far from happy to be sent to the stands with the scores level at 1-1, with the Portuguese tacticial seen remonstrating with the fourth official following the decision.

That’s what got him into trouble in the first place, however, and he had to watch from the stands as he team went on to lose the match.

Ronaldo’s red card was for a kick-out to the face after yet another tough challenge from the opposition.

The reaction from Diego Simeone and the Atletico bench is nothing short of embarrassing however, as a full-scale riot ensues on the bench.

Thiabut Courtois is then seen on the floor, appearing to have been hit by a missile as the match descends into utter chaos in the closing stages.
