Argentinos fan throws his false teeth at manager

Football News

As any football fan would agree, there is nothing more frustrating than watching your team turn in a toothless performance, on their way to losing a game that everyone knows they should be winning.

In Argentina last night, Argentinos Juniors succumbed to a fifth straight league defeat, going down 3-1 against Belgrano at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

For one angry supporter the result was too much to take, prompting them to take their rage out on unsuspecting manager Ricardo Caruso Lombardi, who had a flying set of dentures thrown in his direction midway through the second-half of Monday's clash.

Unfortunately, the Argentinos perpetrator was not caught on camera chucking his false teeth towards the dugout, but in the video below you can clearly see the suspecting object sitting proudly on the playing field, a few yards from the substitutes' bench.

Now the fan must confront not only the distressing reality of his underachieving team's recent poor performances, but also the fact that he'll be facing a significant dentistry bill for replacement dentures. It's enough to make anyone sick to the back teeth!

Watch footage of the bizarre incident in the video below - with thanks to Mirror Football for bringing it to our attention - and leave a comment in the message box sharing the weirdest items and objects you've ever seen tossed onto a football pitch!
