Mourinho set to sign four-year Chelsea deal

Jose Mourinho has agreed a four year deal worth £250,000-per-week to become the next Chelsea boss, according to the Daily Star.

Real Madrid announced last week that the 'Special One' would leave the Bernabeu at the end of the season by 'mutual consent' - paving the way for his return to Stamford Bridge.

It has been rumoured for some time that Mourinho will take charge of Chelsea next season having initially left the club in 2007, however an announcement has not been forthcoming.

Now the Daily Star claim a contract has been agreed between Chelsea and the Portuguese boss, who will fly into London in June 2 to put pen to paper.

That is just a day after Mourinho's final game in charge of Real Madrid, against Osasuna.

Despite the Star's claims that Mourinho has agreed to return to Chelsea, the paper reckons the deal will not be formally announced until later on.

The Express back up the Star's claims that Mourinho will fly in to sign the contract early next month, but claim he will be handed a three-year deal worth £12m.

Mourinho's seemingly imminent arrival at Stamford Bridge has sparked rumours that he will take a host of Real Madrid players with him to west London - however the Star insist there is little no chance that  Cristiano Ronaldo will follow his countryman to the Premier League.
