Incoming Manchester United manager David Moyes is facing another transfer battle as he looks to keep highly-rated academy starlet Adnan Januzaj from the clutches of Barcelona, reports The Sun.

The 18-year-old attacking midfielder-come-striker has been earning rave reviews in the club's youth and reserve sides this season, and has attracted admiring glances from the Spanish champions.

Januzaj was recently voted reserve team player of the year at Manchester United's end of season awards, and is expected to make the step up to the first-team in 2013/14.

Born in Kosovo but capped at youth international level for Belgium, the talented teenager has been tipped for the top ever since he arrived at Old Trafford from Anderlecht in 2011.

Barcelona missed out to Manchester United in sealing Januzaj's signature two years ago, and are now ready to renew interest in an attempt to lure the player to the Camp Nou.

It's highly unlikely that Tito Vilanova will be able to offer the youngster regular first-team football, however, should he decide to make the move to Spain.

And that's exactly what Moyes will be telling the emerging star, to stick with Manchester United and continue his development in England.
