Champions League Final: The Best Videos

The dust has now settled and we have new Champions of Europe – welcome to the age of Bayern Munich.

With the arrival of Pep Guardiola to come and a host of leading players flocking to Bavaria to work under the former Barcelona master, the German giants look set to dominate the landscape of European football for years to come.

But despite their star players and limitless budget, for much of the Champions League final at Wembley on Saturday it looked as though Dortmund had their name on the cup.

Jurgen Klopp’s men hounded their big-name rivals and carved plenty of clear-cut chances, and when Arjen Robben missed decisive chance after decisive chance it appeared as though Bayern were gearing up for a 3rd Champions League final defeat since 2010.

However fortune favoured Jupp Heynckes side this time round as Robben put his personal demons to bed by scoring a late winner to break Dortmund hearts to make it 2-1.

Although Bayern were the winners, Dortmund came out of the game with plenty of credit while the general consensus was that this was the best Champions League final since Manchester United’s showdown against Chelsea in 2008.

With that in mind, check out the best videos of a historic night of football below.
