Romelu Lukaku feels that Anderlect striker Dieumerci Mbokani would be the ideal candidate to replace him at the Hawthorns.
Lukaku will return to Chelsea during the summer after a successful season on loan at West Brom as the club begin the lookout for a replacement.
The 20-year-old has scored 17 league goals for West Brom this season making him the sixth top goalscorer and the Belgian believes that Mbokani, who has expressed an interest in playing in the Premier League, should move to the Baggies.
“Dieu has won titles in Belgium, now it’s time for something else,” Lukaku told Sky Sports.
“West Brom is a good club. They can offer him a new challenge.
“It is sometimes said that Dieu must be ‘accompanied’ but guidance is offered at West Brom by good people.”
Mbokani, 27, has been at Anderlect since 2011 having joined from AS Monaco and has scored 17 goals in 35 league appearance for the Belgian outfit.
Mbokani's valuation could provide a stumbling block as Anderlect chairman Roger Vanden Stock rates the player highly.
“We have agreed Mbokani can leave in June, but only for the right price. English clubs have seen what Christian Benteke is capable of, and they know that Dieu is even better.
"He can be one of the best strikers in Europe, so I think the fee would be closer to 20million euros than 10,” he said.
The 27-year-old striker from DR Congo helped Anderlect to another league title this season after bagging 27 goals in 39 appearances.
