A charity match descended into farce over the weekend as the game between amputees from Belgium and the Netherlands resulted in a violent brawl.

The incident was sparked by a collision between two players, in which the Dutch protagonist pulled his Belgian rival to the ground.

From there the incident escalated as more players engaged in some pushing and shoving before fans then began to pile in and started throwing punches.

Some serious blows were landed as the game, being played in Westerlo, Belgium, descended into carnage.

Thankfully, tempers eventually cool before the players walk off the pitch.
