Neymar showcases silly haircuts in new Volkswagen advert

New Barcelona signing Neymar is the star of Volkswagen's latest promotion campaign in South America, fronting a 30 second TV advert with a range of different hairstyles.

The Brazilian sensation showcases a number of classic cuts as he decides on a make and model of car designed by the German manufacturer.

Although it's a light-hearted, fantasy storyline, in real life Neymar has also had a few too many dodgy hairdos, especially for somebody so young...

The 20-year-old forward signed a four-year sponsorship agreement with Volkswagen in 2012, that will see him serve as brand ambassador until the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Neymar already has contracts in place with Nike, Sony, Red Bull and Santander amongst others, as he continues his rise to worldwide stardom, so at least his PR man is a bit better at his job than his barber.

Tipped to shine at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil next year, the former Santos star has long been linked with a move to Europe, and recently completed a high-profile move to Barcelona, who beat a clutch of other top clubs to secure Neymar's signature.

Watch footage of Neymar - and his many hairdos - in the Volkswagen advert below, and feel free to share your favourite football adverts and hairstyles in the comment box provided!
