Tottenham have been told by Atletico Mineiro they will have to pay at least £15m to land Brazil international Bernard. Borussia Dortmund are also keen on the 20-year-old, but Mineiro are eager warn off interest in their academy product.

Napoli have stolen a march on Manchester City in the race to sign Valencia defender Adil Rami. Sources in France claim Rafa Benitez is trying to beat City to the capture of Rami, and has already made contact with the player's agents regarding a summer move.

Clement Grenier will snub interest from the likes of Arsenal & Liverpool and stay at Lyon next season, according to the player's father. The France playmaker is entering the final year of his contract at the Stade de Gerland, but Grenier Senior doesn't expect him to leave for the Premier League any time soon.

The Football Association have confirmed Manchester United's Community Shield fixture against Wigan will take place on Sunday 11 August. The match will be David Moyes' first competitive game in charge since he replaced Sir Alex Ferguson as United manager.

Former-Chelsea midfielder Florent Malouda has tipped Jose Mourinho to turn the club into title contenders next season. Mourinho won two Premier League trophies in his first spell in charge, and Malouda believes the ex-Real Madrid boss will bring the good times back to Stamford Bridge once again.
