When Harry Redknapp took over at QPR in January he described the job as his biggest challenge in his managerial career.
Despite making a few singings Redknapp couldn’t prevent the Hoops from relegation back to the Championship after just seasons in the top flight.
And now the ex-Tottenham man faces a tough task on gaining promotion from one of the most competitive leagues in world football.
In gaining promotion a lot depends on the strength and depth of the squad, QPR have some quality players in their side, however they may prove difficult to keep hold of.
Players such as Brazilian international Julio Cesar, who was one of the best performers last season, Loic Remy, who impressed in his short spell at the club, and Adel Taarabt will have a hole host of clubs seeking their signatures.
But, for QPR, these stars are vital players for the club in their hopes to bounce back to the Premier League.
Furthermore the club have a few players on loan which they will have to make a decision on, the players include Djibril Cisse, Alejandro Faurlin and the controversial character Joey Barton - who has been at Marseille.
Redknapp again is expected to be given financial support from chairman Tony Fernandes, however the QPR boss' most important task will be getting a team together that want to play for one another and most importantly the club itself.
Bouncing back from a very disappointing season won’t be easy for the west London side especially in such a competitive league but with an experienced squad and a few new faces Redknapp will be eyeing a very quick return to England's top flight.
